HW 4/27/09
You can still turn journals in on Wednesday. You should also turn in the three sheets--WWII terms, Background on WWII, and Rise of Fascism. You should also read 525-528/543-546. Answer the following essay question (PARAGRAPH FORM!!!!):
What were the results of WWI in Great Britian, France, and the U.S.? How did the arts of the Disillusionment Era reflect these issues? GIVE SPECIFIC EXAMPLES FOR BOTH.
I will be at school tomorrow to answer any questions you might have! Don't forget that the due date for your year-end project has been pushed back one day--MAY 8th!
Where are we headed next?
Well, we are done with WWI! We will head off toward WWII. Before we make it there, we will discuss what happens in between the two (the rise of various world powers and the Era of Disillusionment). Stay tuned to the blog for more info!

Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions you might have! Especially if you can't figure out how to follow this blog!

TOP SECRET!
If you will print off a copy of the picture at the bottom of this blog (tree pic) I will give you bonus points on your Wed. Quiz. DO NOT TELL OTHERS. If it comes out that you told someone, no one will receive the extra credit. This is only for those who are making use of our blog! :)
Where we are headed....4/22/09
We will be getting into the US joining WWI on Wednesday. We have already discussed why the US was neutral during the first part of the war. Something is going to tick them off enough to join the Allied cause. What will it be?? Now remember, this is not WWII! Do your best not to combine what you know about WWII with what we are learning with WWI YET! If you have questions, you know where to reach me!
4/20/09 Homework
Don't forget! Complete the packet which includes trench warfare and the battles. Also, at max, a 10 sentence summary of the Gallipoli Campaign. Please use the necessary resources to find your information! This work is due on Wednesday. You also have an extra credit assignment (In Flanders Field). That is due on Friday if you want to try!

Monday 4/20/09--WWI
Alright folks! Saddle up for the ride through WWI! You should have already completed the introduction section by reading from the beginning of the WWI chapter and by completing the packet that you received. For those of you who are a little behind, you need to have a completed Industrialism and Imperialism PPT to turn in on Monday as well. I will also take late Photo Journals.
No journals are due.
