LABOR DAY WEEKEND

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend!

As you know, there was not much to do over this holiday break. The World History class needs to be prepared for their review for their first written test to be given on Friday (11th). The Government class had no homework.

A bonus opportunity:

The information is prepared remarks from President Obama's Back to School Event scheduled for Tuesday in Arlington, Virginia. In three paragraphs, explain what the President is talking about, if you agree with his remarks (and why or why not), and your opinion on whether or not you think he should be addressing students (and why or why not). This assignment can take the place of any assignment you might not have turned in or missed (EXCEPT TESTS or QUIZZES!). This is due by Friday, Sept. 11th. This is open to World History or Government students.
