Hello Government Class! I just wanted to post a few helps to get you "into" character and really focus on the issues of 1980.
ELECTION INFORMATION--
http://www.ropercenter.uconn.edu/elections/presidential/presidential_election_1980.html
This site not only includes how the race was won, but what people were concerned about and what their mood was during this time period.
http://www.4president.org/ocmi1980.htm
This shows bumper stickers and signs, as well as giving speech transcripts.
http://www.livingroomcandidate.org/
This is the site I talked to you about that shows campaign commercials. It not only gives you great slogans and information, but it also gives you a guide to study in order for you to "become" Reagan/Carter. This is a great tool!
I hope these three sites get you started. I will post more as they come along.
