HW 10/28

Hey Everyone! Another step closer to midterms! :)

WH: Powerpoint needs to be completed in the first 20 minutes of class. Don't forget, journals are due on Monday as well.

GOVT: Add your packet I gave out Wed. to your Supreme Court outline. Complete the Supreme Court Case I assigned you. Journal is due! If you didn't finish your chart, finish it up and bring it with you Monday to be checked!

Also your test will be Friday the 6th! If you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail me!

HW 10/23

Hello History Students! I hope that you are enjoying your weekend.

WH: You need to come to class with DEADLINE #1 completed. (Your mock layout for the Islamic ppt.) Don't forget your journal and to have your flash drive with you. You cannot complete Deadline #2 without a saving device! We will meet in the computer lab to work on these for class.

GOVT: Each student must come in with a completed case research sheet for the Supreme Court. If you are having trouble please e-mail me ASAP! Your JOURNAL is due as well as a couple of posters to hang for your end of semester project.

HW 10/21

World History: Finish up assignments that go with presentations. Quiz over presentations will be on Friday. Don't forget! VFW Essay due!

Government: Executive Test and VFW Essay due. For 5 points of extra credit on your test, bring in examples to help you create posters for your campaign which will hang next week. You will need these to work on your posters and campaign materials after the test.

HW 10/19

World History: Complete Lacey's 10 questions and map. Complete Erica's chart and map.

Government: I checked and the research isn't on the blog for last assignment. This means you need to bring your research in on Wednesday. Also, put the finishing touches on your presidential cartoon, add the last 8 departments to your notes, and read 284-289--answer 1-5.

Don't forget Gov't Test on FRIDAY! VFW essays are also due, but you may turn those in Wed for extra credit. The essays are counted as a quiz grade.

World History: You must be ready to give your presentations of your chapter on Monday, October 19th. Please e-mail with any questions or please set-up a time to see me for help. Journals are also due the 19th.

Government: Read 261-267. Complete an outline for the section. We will do a point check so make sure you hit the important points in your outline. Read 172-176. Answer 2, 3, 4. Journals are also due. Please be ready to hand in on Monday, October 19th.

HW 10/7

WORLD HISTORY: You should be working on the note section of your teaching experience. This is a lot of fun and an opportunity to show me what you've got! So put on a great show!

GOVERNMENT: You should complete the chart on Presidential Powers. It can be found in the 2nd chapter on the Exective Branch, the first section. We will review the chart on Friday. We will also review your tests. Bonus for Friday---President Obama's qualifications for President.


DON'T FORGET!!!! VFW Essays are due on October 23rd.

DON'T FORGET!!

I hope you used the weekend to study for your tests--WORLD HISTORY AND GOVERNMENT!

After the tests we will be moving in different directions! In World History, you will have the opportunity to be the teacher. We will be discussing some early civilizations you might not know as well. This will give you a great opportunity to learn in a new way!

The Government class will have time to research their end of the semester project after the test. on Wednesday we will begin discussing the Executive Branch. This will be interesting!

Don't forget! VFW essays are due the 23rd of this month! Please let me know if I can help you with the content. If you have structure questions, please see Mrs. Boyd!
